Tom\u00e1s Cohen <\/b>has published the poetry books <\/span>Redoble del ronroneo <\/span><\/i>(Buenos Aires Poetry, Argentina, 2016), <\/span>Un \u00e1rbol de luz \u00edntima <\/span><\/i>(Ediciones Bastante, Chile, 2019), <\/span>Tr\u00edada mayor <\/span><\/i>(Siesta Verlag, 2023) and <\/span>Eine Sternwarte im Badezimmer <\/span><\/i>(Elif Verlag, 2023). His poems have been translated into eight languages and published in international journals and anthologies. His work has been awarded scholarships by the Pablo Neruda Foundation and the National Book Fund (Chile), the Baltic Center for Writers and Translators (Sweden), Looren Translators' House (Switzerland) and the Berlin Senate (Germany). (since 2021). He has co-organised (since 2015) the multilingual reading series Hafenlesung in Hamburg and (from March 2023) he is artistic director of <\/span>VOCATIONS<\/span><\/a>, a series of new music and new poetry events organised by Haus f\u00fcr Poesie in collaboration with the Akademie der K\u00fcnste. He was Editor-at-Large of <\/span>Asymptote journal<\/span><\/a> and is a board member of the association <\/span>Unabh\u00e4ngige Lesereihen<\/span><\/a>. Tom\u00e1s studied Fine Arts, Art History and Musicology in Santiago de Chile and New York. After living in a Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu for two years, he studied Tibetan philology and Sanskrit in Hamburg. Tom\u00e1s and his son Taro Sol live in Berlin.<\/span>
